Did you know the Roman Calendar actually started in what would have been March? Neither did I, but I learned that today, and after the year we’ve been having, I’ve decided to implement it (like, right now… thanks for being part of the journey).
You don’t have to be following too closely to know things have been…well, NOT GREAT. I’ve been saying I have a case of the blues, my primary care doctor says it’s an autoimmune flare-up, my therapist thinks it’s burnout, and everyone close to me agrees I’m dealing with a lot of stress. Too much, probably.
Thankfully, when I get stressed… I get organized.
One of my biggest stressors right now is feeling like I’m not doing enough for my writing career. I’ve always had multiple projects in various stages of “development”1, and I’ve been muddling through a drama pilot outline (my 22nd) since late last year.
I used to update my projects list every Monday like a good little Virgo, but I hadn’t even created one for 2025— until now.
In an effort to keep myself accountable, I’m going to start sharing my writing (and life) process weekly. If it also helps you get organized and stay on track with your writing (and life) goals, then I’ll be a happy gal.
